Carpe Diem (Seize the Moment)

Carpe Diem was the theme for this year for my school's annual awards ceremony. This year is my final year attending this school and I actually won a prize. I was given a prize for Leadership in the Boys' Club. A club in which in two previous consecutive years I have been the vice president of and only this year was I given the title of President. The awards ceremony was great. There were dance performances and a drama presentation of sex and alcohol put on by the drama group which has for two consecutive years won the national awards.

All yesturday I was afraid that when I go up for the prize that I would actually mess up or something but I didn't and by not messing up it has raised my self confidence.


This is surely one moment I will seize.
