Kids these days

Well this entry isn't really about me, but about something me and some other kids my age observed today.

Well At the end of school, seeing as we were so busy lunch time we forgot to get something to eat so we decided to go out of school and get some lunch, so we went into this fast food restaurant. Well I had a ... to eat, then again this isn't about what I ate. Then there were these kids about age 11 and 12 inside there, and they were about 4 or 5 guys and only two girls. Well this one girl was cornered between two guys and ended up giving this guy in the corner a hand job, but we could tell that she wasn't really into and didn't really want to do it but, she went ahead and did it anyway. However the other girl was smart enough to move to another table to avoid it. Well she got away in a very smart way from what I heard. Whatever, the guy who got the hand job, when he realised that he was being watched got everything stopped and when he stood up you could actually see the erection he had. The girl was so embarrassed that all she could do was put her head on the table and call it a day. Really I didn't see much as I came in kind of late but I was told of what had happened by a friend that was there all along.

Kids these days have no respect for self and no dignity. When I was their age, these kinds of actives were the furthest things from my mind, in some ways they still are.

Math Exam Today

Well today I had my Math final Exam, I would not say that it was that difficult nor will I say it was easy, because I would be lying. In the morning we had the long paper in which we were required to finish in 2 hours and 40 minutes, comprising of 8 compulsory questions and six other questions in which you had to do two. In my opinion this paper was the most difficult, when I first saw it I got scared of how thick it felt, but when I opened it and saw the questions I was some what relaxed and I worked my way through the questions, and when I locked at the clock an hour had passed already and I had only done four questions so I decided to speed things up a bit, and did the questions that I was more confident in and left those that I was less confident in for the last. I could say that at the end I did a fair amount of work and should be able to pass this paper even if I did leave out that question that was worth about 11 marks. I however was not able to finish the entire paper, as when I was trying to finish the one I had left out earlier, I heard the invigilator say Time Up, and I was like already. I am a person who finishes exams with enough time to spare.

Then in the afternoon I had the multiple choice paper, which I am confident that I did well in, at one point I even asked myself where the difficult questions are. Overall I would say that there is a strong possibility of me passing and I do hope I pass, I have always loved maths and hope that some day I may be able to teach it. I have to wait until late August, early September for the results.

Last Electronics Paper

Today I had my last in two electronics papers; this one was rather difficult and is leaving me somewhat doubtful, of if I shall pass. Although I know that I answered all of the questions, even the ones that I was not sure about. As a teacher once told me, answer all of the questions, your answer may just be correct. It was hard and I really wish not to talk about it anymore. What is done is done and can't be undone.

Well I have to revise or cram for my English Literature Exam tomorrow; I'll tell you how it went.

I can't wait to see June second.

My First Exam

Well my exams officially started today, and the first exam was Electrical and Electronics Technology Paper 1 being the multiple choice paper. The exam was scheduled to start at 1PM and seeing as I am on examination leave and get to go to school only when I have exams, I just go to school for the exam and then go back home, I decided that I would leave homes around 10:30AM, I know its a little early and although I like somewhat close to the school about 5 miles, its really hard to get a bus to school. I ended up getting down there about 10:40AM as I got a ride down there, so I just walked around in the town, seeing as my school is in the heart of a town. Chill with some of my friends before the exam and just relax. The exam was not all of that difficult, we had some fun in the exam room, one invidulator was sleeping and the other was kind of angry because the one was sleeping. It was fun, then she went on to talk about our signatures (seeing as we have to sign the exam papers), and how she cannot understand them. Honestly I though a signature was something that was not meant to be understood in that sort of way. The female invidulator had on a very short skirt and we wanted to throw things and make her pick them up just so we could...

My day

Right now I am really stressed with all of my exams coming up and stuff. I have an exam coming up where when I looked at the past examination papers for that subject I realised my teacher hardly taught me any of the stuff on it. So that of all things is stressing me out.

I had an Entrance exam at a tertiary school which I am going to be attended if I do not get back into school. The exam was some what easy but I felt a little insulted at a number of things in that exam, which included, a time of 75 minutes to do 25 Mathematics Multiple choice questions, same time to do 50 Multiple Choice English questions and the fact that we were allowed to use calculators to do those math questions. I do feel that I passed the exam, especially the English one. Although I applied to this school I am not keen on going there, I would rather go to a 6th form school and then to Community College and then to University, get my bachelors in Math and become a Math teacher.

Also when I got home I tired calling my grand mother who took me there and I know she may have been wondering how the exam went and stuff. But I never got to speak with here only my aunt. My aunt whom has no sort of manners especially on the telephone and does not know how to talk to people answered the phone. I said "Hello" and her response was "Out in the back". Although she was correct in her assumption to tell me that my grand mother was in the back, I think that she should have at least answered the phone properly. Okay after she was so unmannerly I said "Do you even..." and got really angry right there and put the phone down. She called back I put the phone down again and then she called a second time and asked to speak to my mom, at which time I informed her that she was at work.

School's Inter-House Track and Field meet

Today our school had its anual Inter-house track and field meet more commonly know as School Sports. To me its not what I really expected and was kinda boring. And yes this is my first time going since I attended that schoo and I am in my last year. The house which won this year's school sports was a little unexpected, I personally did not expect them to win but they did, thanks mainly to this one girl. But at any rate they deserved it and I am happy for it.

Today I actually helped my mom around the house. I cleaned the windows for the third time this week to stop her from bitching. Around the house was quite peaceful today mainly because my mom and little brother weren't her. My mom went to get her hair done and my little brother went with her. Then I had to meet her and bring my little brother home. Which was a little difficult seeing as I could not get a bus to where we were supposed to meet. But in the end I got there before she did. Then when I got home I decided to make some chips for my little brother which in the end tasted great. But the only problem was that the gas went out.

My Day

Today to some extent was a great day. School finished at 12:30pm instead of the regular 2:50pm. But before that for those hours I was at school all we played were dominoes which we had fun. I still don't believe that I lost to two girls. Oh well. After that there was this assembly in the hall, we had fun signing Christmas songs. But then I was told that the Presidents of all the Clubs in the school had to wish the school seasons greetings. Seeing as I am the president of the Boys' Club I had to do it. At first I was nervous and stuff like that but when I got up there I felt confident and went ahead and do it. It was quite easy. The Deputy Principal and the Club's Coordinator both said that I did a great job and that they were proud of me. The club's coordinator also told me that he has a great deal of work for me to do next term. Which I really don't mind the more I go up on stage and do stuff like this the more confident I will get.

Carpe Diem (Seize the Moment)

Carpe Diem was the theme for this year for my school's annual awards ceremony. This year is my final year attending this school and I actually won a prize. I was given a prize for Leadership in the Boys' Club. A club in which in two previous consecutive years I have been the vice president of and only this year was I given the title of President. The awards ceremony was great. There were dance performances and a drama presentation of sex and alcohol put on by the drama group which has for two consecutive years won the national awards.

All yesturday I was afraid that when I go up for the prize that I would actually mess up or something but I didn't and by not messing up it has raised my self confidence.

This is surely one moment I will seize.

My Weekly Blabber

Unfortunately in the last week I did not have the time to post for each day so I will post what I did this week.
On Wednesday the rain fell and the school was closed as a result. Trust me when I say that every time the rain falls heavily for an hour or two my school Floods. Like Last year it was so bad that we had to walk through knee deep water. Also on Wednesday Barbados was put under a flood watch. I had a teacher give me a ride home seeing as she only lives three houses down from me. Wow Its great to live near your Teachers.

On Friday rehearsals for the Annual Awards Ceremony in which I am receiving a prize for leadership. People were shocked when they heard what I am getting a prize for. Then in the afternoon we had an inter-house competition know as Hott Pursuit, which takes the form of Jeopardy ie. (The category and the point Values). It was great seeing as I ran around the school hall with my houses flag and almost got tripped up by stupid students from the other houses. Although my house came second I was still proud of the team my house had.

Today the first thing that I did was on the computer. After I that I had to take my brother to something know as Beavers (which is for cubs younger than seven). He had a lot of fun while I was bored to death watching him. I also applied for the position of Dictionary Manager over at LiveWire.

Independence for Barbados

Today Barbados celebrated its 39th anniversary of Independence. Unfortuantely I wook up around 7:00am and the parade started at 8:00am so that mean that I missed the parade. No worries I was still able to watch it on Television, and I can some people that I know.

I was off from school because it is a public holiday duh. So I practically spent the whole day on the computer and on the Internet. Livewire had some server issues and are experiencing some problems which I hoep gets fixed very soon.

Pre-Independence Celebrations

Well Today for the first half of the day we had our Independence Ceremony in which we sand and had a couple of plays acted out and other stuff. They announced the winner of the classroom decorations contest. And the forms which I had said that would have won actually did.

Then we had an extended lunch in which the houses and various groups were allowed to sell local food stuff and stuff like that. So seeing as I am the President of the Boy's Club I sold stuff for that club. But although I am not a member of Lysons House I still helped them sell their stuff. Wow I piged out today, I bough like 7 cups of drink about 10 fish cakes and when I was finished I could not even get my lunch eaten.

After lunch we had our Inter-House Spelling Apple competition. Which was boring, the only good part was me having to run this one girl who is from another house out of our house. It was so boring that at one point I went to sleep.

Yay, Barbados celebrates 39 years of Independence tomorrow and my mom may take us to watch the annual Independence parade.

My Day

Well I just realised how cool Google. I also got an invite to orkut which if I say is cool.

Today at school was the usual. Only difference is that I got sent outside of my Electronics class for calling someone a P-U-S-S-Y right after he called me an A-N-U-S, the twist is only I got in trouble for the situation. I had a math test, which I know I will pass because I am a whiz at math. I had fish and chips for lunch. After lunch I had Geography in which I got in trouble for talking too loud, then I made things worst by saying that the teacher was picking on me. Then for my last class of the day I had Career Guidance in which we first talked about Homosexuals working alongside us and actually getting the job and how some employers discriminate against these persons.

Wow I just realised that I was such a trouble maker today.
